Spring loaded fixed castor with mounting plate

A spring-loaded wheel is often used as a 5th wheel. This wheel is placed in the center and allows you to turn the structure more easily. This simple addition makes your trolley, pick cart or shelf cart a lot more maneuverable.

Application of fixed wheel

This high quality wheel with a diameter of 100 mm is equipped with a hard thermoplastic rim and wheel. Due to the softer rubber, the run-up resistance is higher than with a polypropylene tread, for example. This wheel is not suitable for environments with a lot of swarf or chemicals. This caster has a good cushioning tread and therefore it has good acoustic properties. The height from ground level to the top of the mounting plate is 124 mm.

This spring-loaded castor is equipped with a compression spring with adjustment screw to adjust the pressure to the ground. Depending on the load, the pressure can easily be increased or decreased.
